In a week, the 500-member NEWiRE will officially unveil its new brand as CREW Boston and start reaping the benefits. The 9,000-member CREW Network does a great deal of research, has a C-suite mentoring program and offers the opportunity for members to have a national platform, says CREW Boston president Claudia Piper. The national identity for Boston real estate women reflects a new reality in the industry: most commercial property pros work at a national level via vendors, investors or clients, says Claudia, an SVP at Webster Bank. NEWiRE decided to take the leap after a year-long analysis guided by an outside adviser.
