Partners HealthCare to Open Urgent Care Centers
Partners HealthCare, parent of Massachusetts General and nine other hospitals in the state, plans to open up to a dozen urgent care facilities over the next three years. The first will be at the end of the month in Brookline’s Coolidge Corner. Two more clinics will follow this fall in Newtown and Watertown, the Boston Globe reports. Urgent care clinics have been on the rise as more patients seek new options for basic care. Partners network of 6,000 doctors is the largest in the state. [Globe]
