The St. Regis Residences Come To The Seaport
Those looking for five-star hotel service at their Boston homes are in luck.
The St. Regis will make its Boston entrance at Cronin Development’s 150 Seaport condo building. The developer signed a deal with Marriott, the flag’s parent company, to attach the upscale hotel brand to the residential project slated to replace the Atlantic Beer Garden and Whiskey Priest waterfront bars, the Boston Business Journal reports. The St. Regis Residences, Boston, is scheduled to open in 2020.
The 114-unit St. Regis is the second condo-only project tied to the luxury brand. Alfred Weissman Real Estate broke ground earlier this year with a $100M St. Regis Residences in Rye, New York, in the northern suburbs of New York City.
The Boston project comes amid a growing trend of hotel-branded condos across the city. Taiwan-based Regent Hotel Group will manage Cottonwood Development’s Echelon Seaport across the street from the planned St. Regis. The Four Seasons flag is attached to both the hotel and condos at One Dalton in Back Bay, and Singapore-based Raffles Hotel & Resorts is opening a 33-story hotel and condo development in Back Bay, its first property in the Western Hemisphere.
