BitSight Will Move Headquarters To The Prudential Center
A Cambridge cybersecurity ratings company is crossing the river.
BitSight is moving to 111 Huntington Ave., the crowned tower in Boston’s Prudential Center complex, later this year. The new space will span two floors and total nearly 50K SF, the Boston Business Journal reports. The company currently has an office at 125 Cambridgepark Drive by the Alewife MBTA Red Line station.
The tech company has 150 Greater Boston employees and 340 worldwide. BitSight CEO Tom Turner told the BBJ he expects to hire an additional 25 to 30 people locally by year’s end. He added the decision to move to Back Bay is a result of wanting access to a new pool of talent and to be near a new transit line. The office is near several Green Line stations.
Back Bay has seen an increase in tenant activity in recent months. Fantasy sports site DraftKings is moving its headquarters from downtown to 100K SF at 500 Boylston St. John Hancock announced in March it will leave the Seaport and consolidate its headquarters in the 1.2M SF campus it has in Back Bay, and Wayfair is said to be on the market for up to 1M SF in the neighborhood.
