A KIPPER CAPER…
Reid?s Fine Foods, which started selling delectables in Myers Park 82 years ago, is coming back after a decade uptown. The specialty grocer has leased about 4,500 SF at Selwyn Corners, just down the road from its original location. The local clientele is practically hard-wired to start shopping. But the ?new? space has had some issues, says The McAllister Group's Kris Kellogg, GC for Reid?s $400K upfit. The space has seen many a tenant over the years, most recently a furniture store, and the interior took a beating. ?There was a lot of pre-existing (#@*!) in here,? Kris tells us. The new store should open in April. The RBA Group is project architect. |
