BISSELL’S GRAGG TOPS OUT
January 19, 2012
One of two, 10-story suburban office towers Bissell is building—on spec and self-financed—topped out last week. Together, with a parking deck, they total $100M. (And no, they didn't just park a $99 million car in that garage.) |
The first office building out of the ground is named in honor of Margaret Gragg Bissell, wife of company chairman and founder Smoky Bissell. ?A big ?thank you? to all of our workers—we cannot thank you enough for your hard work and dedication throughout this project,? Smoky told the crowd. Among those in attendance: District 7 City Councilman Warren Cooksey, Bissell's Ned Curran; LS3P?s Mike Tribble; Bissell's Clifton Coble; Margaret; Smoky; Rodgers Builders? Pat Rodgers; SteelFab?s Ron Sherrill; and Nucor Corp.?s Dan DiMicco. |
