| The multifamily boom in the Triangle is also paying dividends locally. Charlotte-based developer Crescent Resources has selected State Building Group as its GC, SBG's exec VP and founder Bill Caldwell tells us. (SBG is a new venture Bill, here with son Bill III, created earlier this year after spending decades with companies likeF.N. Thompson and Cox & Schepp.) Its first major project: Crescent?s $47M Circle Ninth Street in Durham?s historic Erwin Mill area, which is expected to include 303 luxury apartments. Construction is underway, with delivery of the first units in the fall. |
