When we met with the local Colliers International team this week, it turned out to be an impromptu roundtable discussion about almost every aspect of the market. Industrial partner Lawrence Shaw (above) is predicting a two-year wait for normalcy: ?I'm not seeing any robust improvements for at least 24 months.? VP Rob Speir says there's no question it's a tenant and buyers? market. But clients with the potential to expand are still playing a waiting game, uncertain what may be around the bend. ?The confidence level out there is not anything any of us can control,? Rob says. The recently created firm, incorporating some of Charlotte's most familiar names in CRE, is still waiting for new furniture to arrive at its One Wells Fargo office. But these folks have been around the block a time or two. |
