John Currin offers us the following conclusions about Charlotte's office market (see the company's Q3 report, released this week, for more detail: 1) Unemployment dropped to 9.7% in August, after rising for three months. 2) The office market saw 320k SF in positive absorption in Q3. 3) Tenants are looking for more space and longer terms, contrary to previous trends. 4) New construction is still in hibernation, unless someone gets serious about pre-leasing (or someone wants to go poke that backhoe with a stick). | ||
