First-Time Retailers Sniffing Around

Collett?s Stephen Pharr tells us that he's seeing many more franchised groups exploring the Charlotte market for the first time. ?That's a good sign,? he says. Retailers are no dummies (not even the ones who sell dummies): they're more interested in leasing space in the greater Charlotte area than they were a year ago because local consumer confidence and the local economy have both improved, Stephen notes.
