GCAA HELPS CRISIS MINISTRY

More than 35 volunteers from members of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association turned out recently for Volunteer Day atCrisis Assistance Ministry. Volunteers unloaded and sorted mountains of donated clothing and household goods. The GCAA, which has a long-standing relationship with the ministry, expects to participate in a similar volunteer effort with the ministry in the spring, the GCAA's Irene Gammon tells us. Crisis Assistance Ministry helps provide people in need with emergency financial help to cover things like rent and utilities, as well as clothing, household items, and furniture. |
