Orlando-based Global Growth Trust recently bought 13 acres at I-485 and Arrowood Road for the development of a $30M, 300-unit apartment project. Construction should begin soon on the garden-style apartment, Global?s John McCrae tells us. Rental rates have not been set. Global bought the land in a JV with Woodfield Investments. The community, Whitehall Parc, will feature multiple floor plans and include amenities such as a club room, cyber caf , fitness center, and resort-style pool. Renting has overshadowed home ownership in recent years, offering a shorter-term commitment in an affordable yet comfortable setting, John tells us. |
