HUGHES BUILDS “BRIDGES” WITH C-K
Grading has begun for the new 1.3M SF Bridges at Mint Hill retail site
Dallas-based The Howard Hughes Corp just announced it's partnering with Charlotte-based Childress Klein Properties to pursue development of the long-delayed Bridges at Mint Hill in Charlotte. Earth-moving has begun. Hughes? David Weinreb says the partnership with Childress Klein should help the project become one of the ?most attractive retail developments" in the Charlotte MSA. The Bridges at Mint Hill has been delayed for years because of thedownturn. The ultimate plan is to build up to 1.3M SF of retail, hotel, and commercial space.
