Manufacturing Property Deals Surge

In the industrial realm, warehouse/distribution space gets the glory, but local manufacturing space deals have been picking up as that sector of the economy improves (if youre going to reshore, you need a place to do it). Colliers International VP Grant Miller, herewith VP Don Moss in the Charlotte office, is seeing the market for high-quality manufacturing buildings tighten considerably. Within the past 90 days, he and Don has been involved in five such deals, with three of the buildings (397k SF in Salisbury, NC, 50k SF in Conover, NC, and 50k SF in Weaverville, NC) purchased by companies expanding and/or adding jobs.
