Construction will begin next month on Fountains at Mooresville Town Square, a $23M luxury apartment community, the residential piece of the Lowes Foods-anchored Mooresville Town Square. (Our definition of luxury: Living above a supermarket, since there's never a day when you pour your cereal then realize you can't get any milk.) |

| Developer Hawkins-Dixon's Wyatt Dixon tells us the eight-acre, 227-unit project (at Williamson and Brawley School roads off I-77) will feature six buildings, one with an elevator. Red Mortgage Capital's Charlotte office secured debt financing for the Fountains through the FHA's 221(d)(4) market-rate apartment financing program. The project will have one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, withrents from $695 to $1,200. The 5,000 SF clubhouse (with WiFi throughout) will house a gourmet demonstration kitchen and private dining room overlooking the pool, as well as a clubroom, screening room, billiards and entertaining area, business center, and fitness centers. The Housing Studio was project architect. Design Resource Group is the land planner, engineer, and landscape architect. Samet Corp is the GC. |
