TASTE OF CHARLOTTE ROLLS OUT IN JUNE
This year marks the 13th anniversary of the Taste of Charlotte food and entertainment festival, and dozens of area restaurants and vendors are expected to participate June 10-12 along Tryon Street from MLK Boulevard to Sixth Street. Featured eateries will include Amelie?s French Bakery, Braza?s Brazilian Grill, Namaste Indian Restaurant, and Dilworth Neighborhood Grille. Admission is free, but food and beverages are sold using festival coins available with cashonly from the Charlotte Knight?s coin booths. And there's more than just food. The festival?s marketplace offers numerous arts, crafts and piece goods vendors, including Blue Water Art Studio, Grammy Glass (lamp work and glass beads) and Cicily?s Scrubs & Stuff. (They make hand-sewn designer chef?s hats, among other well-themed curiosities.) |
