KBS Legacy Partners Apartment REIT bought Wesley Village, an apartment property in Charlotte, for $45.8M. Completed in 2009, Wesley Village includes 301 units on 14.8 acres near North Carolina 27 and I-77 and I-277, five miles west of Charlotte Douglas International Airport. KBS is a Newport Beach, Calif.-based, non-traded REIT sponsored by KBS Capital Advisors and Legacy Partners Residential Realty of Foster City, Calif.

Liberty Property Trust acquired about 376k SF of industrial space at Shopton Ridge in Charlotte for $16M. Together, the three buildings are 88% leased, located at 48354925, and 5033 Sirona Dr, roughly two miles from the airport. The company already has about 1.8M SF in its Charlotte portfolio.

Dallas-based 7-Eleven completed the acquisition of 12 Fast Track stores in Central North Carolina from J.C. Faw of Wilkesboro for an unspecified price. The stores are in Elkin, King, Lexington, Thomasville, Kernersville, Lewisville, Clemmons, Winston-Salem, Hamptonville, Claremont, Statesville, and Union Grove. According to 7-Eleven, remodeling  of the stores will be under way by the end of November, with the rebranding  complete by February. These stores augment the convenience chain?s  presence in the region, coming not long after its purchase of 55 Sam's Marts in greater Charlotte earlier this year.

2901 Coltsgate LLC has bought the 18.5k SF office building at 2901 Coltsgate Rd for $3.2M from Hall Entertprises I LLC. The building is home to Re/Max Executive Realty's SouthPark office. Flagship Properties' Tiffany Slayden repped the seller.

Kiger Law bought a 2,400 SF office condo at 1336 Harding Pl for $365k. New South Property of the Carolinas' Kenny Smith repped the buyer.

LEASING
 

Argix Logistics inked a lease for 50k SF at 4045 Perimeter West Dr, which is owned by Liberty Property Trust. Colliers International's Lawrence Shaw repped Argix, while Bryan Blythe repped Liberty.

Premier Transportation has renewed a 79k SF lease at the Charlotte Distribution Center South. JLL?s Brad Cherry repped the tenant, while Bryan Blythe repped Liberty Property Trust, owner of the property. Separately, Facil North America renewed its lease for 96k SF of warehouse space at Crosspoint III, another Liberty property.

Vulcan Materials Co. re-upped its lease for 4,000 SF at the 100k SF One Mallard Pointe building on David Taylor Dr. New South Property of the Carolinas' Kenny Smith repped Vulcan, a producer of construction aggregates, while New South?s  Steve Brown repped the landlord, High Family Partnership I.

Capital Advisors? Austin Peek arranged a $4M refi through correspondent lender StanCorp Mortgage Investors for the 46k SF East Forest Plaza III, a shopping center in Columbia, SC. The loan?s rate is fixed at 4.8% through year 20. The property is anchored by Dollar Tree, Cato, and Fatz Caf and is fully occupied.  
 
EXECUTIVES IN MOTION
 

Cassidy Turley tapped Brett Gray as SVP to oversee its Charlotte property management business. Brett joins Cassidy Turley from Percival McGuire, where he served as president of its property management division.

JLL hired Holly Alexander as a senior associate in its agency leasing group in the Charlotte office. Previously, Holly was director of biz dev at Concorde Construction. She is a board member and immediate past president of Charlotte CREW.
