WOODFIELD TO LAUNCH SC PROJECT
CNL Macquarie Global Growth Trust of Orlando and Ashburn, Va.-based Woodfield Investments (known for projects like Elizabeth Square in Charlotte) recently JV?d to acquire 33 acres in Mount Pleasant, SC, with plans to build a 258-unit apartment complex. The project, called Woodfield Long Point, is scheduled to break ground in Q3, Woodfield officials recently announced. Redus Properties sold the land for $3.4M. (The property currently consists of raw land near the Mark Clark Expressway.) Woodfield Long Point will include such amenities as a 7,300 SF clubhouse, fitness center, yoga room, business office, and media center. Rental rates are pending and a construction cost was not released. Carolina Commercial's Daniel Batten repped the seller, while Anchor Commercial | CORFAC International's Gordon Geer repped the buyer. |
