Levine Cancer Institute To Double In Size
Carolinas HealthCare System OK'd a $150M expansion of the Levine Cancer Institute, more than doubling the size of the existing facility on the campus of Carolinas Medical Center.
The project will include a 260k SF outpatient care center, as well as inpatient renovations to develop a 32-bed hematologic unit, the Charlotte Business Journal reports.
The center sees 15,000 patients annually, and that figure is expected to grow with the expansion. [CBJ]
