BIC Takes 78k SF In North Charlotte
French penmaker BIC Corp inked a lease for 78k SF at InnerLoop North, a two-building, spec industrial development by Beacon Partners on David Cox Road in north Charlotte. The deal represents an expansion for the company in the region. It already has three facilities here: 5900 Long Creek Park Drive, 5901 Long Creek Park Drive and 5910 Long Creek Park Drive. The new deal brings its total local presence to 663k SF.
The InnerLoop North space will be used to support existing packaging and distribution operations, the Charlotte Business Journal reports.
InnerLoop North is in the north Charlotte industrial submarket, which has a vacancy rate of 3.7%, according to Foundry Commercial data. That submarket has seen about 487k SF of net industrial absorption year-to-date, one of the highest in the Charlotte market. [CBJ]
