Ayrsley Adds Local Restaurant Concept To Its Retail Offerings
Bánh Mì and Tea Co. inked a lease with New Forum for space at the Ayrsley mixed-use community in Steele Creek. According to New Forum Vice President William Hodges, the restaurant is a fit for Ayrsley because it will be one of a number of local restaurant concepts — something that is increasingly important to give properties a sense of authenticity.
"We've worked hard to assemble a variety of strong, local restaurant concepts,” Hodges said.
Headed by longtime restaurant operator Tien Nguyen, the restaurant will be a Vietnamese fast-casual concept, offering such classic bánh mì items as the pork roll sandwich, but also featuring multicultural twists in the form of teriyaki salmon, chicken satay and bulgogi bánh mì sandwiches. The restaurant will also serve bubble teas, including fruit-infused and milk teas.
Bánh Mì and Tea Co. will take 1,741 SF vacated in May by breakfast restaurant @Dawn at 2130 Ayrsley Town Blvd., bringing Ayrsley’s retail space back to 100% occupied. Hodges repped the landlord.
