Canadian Investor Plans Upgrades To SouthPark Office Property
ICM Realty Group has started major renovation work on 6101 Carnegie Blvd. in SouthPark, with plans to spend about $1.5M upgrading the five-story, 107K SF office building. The work will include common-area renovations, restroom upgrades, redesigned entrances and lobbies, and building system modifications, the Charlotte Business Journal reports.
A outdoor tenant lounge and an indoor game room are being added. The property is also getting a new name: Carnegie Point. JLL is handling property management; Foundry Commercial's Charles Jonas, Meredith Ball and Karah Stumler are leasing Carnegie Point.
Calgary-based ICM Realty Group acquired 6101 Carnegie for $24.5M last October, in a deal brokered by HFF.
