MPV, Selwyn Buy South Charlotte Site For Redevelopment

MPV Properties and Selwyn Property Group acquired Lifespan Inc's building at 200 Clanton Road in South Charlotte. The partners plan to redevelop the site.
The seller, an organization that serves children and adults with developmental disabilities, will remain as a 15k SF tenant for a time, while the remaining 70k SF will be converted into climate-controlled self-storage units--a popular trend these days, the Charlotte Business Journal reports. Once Lifespan relocates, that space could be converted into a brewery with an adjacent beer garden. [CBJ]
