South Tryon Square Trades For Nearly $70M
Goldman Sachs Asset Management acquired the 236k SF South Tryon Square, at 201 South Tryon St in Uptown Charlotte, for $69.5M. The seller was California-based American Realty Advisors. HFF's Ryan Clutter, Scot Humphrey and Chris Lingerfelt repped the seller.
A deep pool of institutional capital aggressively pursued the asset, Ryan tells the Charlotte Business Journal. Dating from 1960, South Tryon Square counts CIT Group and US Bank, as well as retailers Dean & DeLuca and Vapiano, among its tenants. [CBJ]
