Why A Tech Company Wants To Be In SouthPark
BriteVerify recently leased more than 3,400 SF at Two Piedmont Town Center to relocate there. It is a little unusual for a tech company to want to be in SouthPark, but then again, tech companies want many of the same things as other companies.
“While SouthPark hasn’t traditionally been a hub for technology companies, it has walkable restaurants and retail, and we’ve seen the addition of new apartment communities and mixed-use developments like Piedmont Town Center," said Lincoln Harris senior vice president of leasing Campbell Walker, who repped the landlord in the transaction.
"Those are all things that appeal to Millennials and to the companies recruiting them, including tech firms. LendingTree announced last year that it’s relocating its headquarters to SouthPark, so that’s a big endorsement from one of Charlotte’s most successful tech companies."
BriteVerify, founded in 2009, provides real-time email address verification to help improve data quality, deliverability and email-marketing results. The company will move into its space on the fourth floor of the building, which is in Piedmont Town Center in SouthPark, later this month.
Two Piedmont Town Center totals 203k SF and is 86% leased. Lincoln Harris' Jubal Early repped BriteVerify.
