John Buck Lands $150M In Financing For MILA

MILA at Michigan Avenue and Lake Street
The John Buck-led joint venture that built one of downtown Chicago's newest apartment towers has secured $150M in financing. The proceeds will refinance the remaining construction debt on the 41-story tower.
HFF worked on behalf of Buck and its partners, Becker Ventures and Partners Group, to secure the loan through Quadrant Real Estate Advisors. MILA, at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Lake Street, opened last year. It houses 402 luxury rentals and 22K SF of retail.
HFF's debt placement team was led by Managing Director Danny Kaufmann and Director Jimmy Conley.
