| The Motion Picture Academy might give its golden trophies in late February, but they weren't the only awards bestowed on worthy recipients this week—The SIOR Chicago Chapter gathered for lunch this week for its 2011 Transaction Awards. Those members who did the most and largest deals, got the honors, including three gentlemen that Bisnow happened to have lunch with: Garry Weiss, John Huguenard, and Trevor Ragsdale, all managing directors at JLL. Chris Curtis, 2012 SIOR Chicago chapter president and a principal at Nugent Curtis Real Estate, moderated the event, says that among chapter members, transactions more than doubled in dollar volume 2011 compared with 2010: $867M versus $360M. |
