ANOTHER SMALL GROCER FOR BUCKTOWN

It may not be a Walmart or a Target, but Bucktown is getting another small grocer in Native Foods, the store's Chicago debut, in a new development at Milwaukee and Honore. LG Development's Brian Goldberg is building a new 9,200 SF single-story retail facility on the site, formerly a Burger King (there's Bucktown, getting classier all the time). The new building will have space for up to four small stores, although LG is talking with a national tenant that might occupy all the space not taken up by the 3,400 SF grocer. Jenel Management and the Lipe Co are working with LG on the project, which should be completed this summer. |
