Apartments on the High-Rise
March 14, 2011
RMK's Tony Rossi is busy finding financing for more than $250M of apartment projects for 2011. But he's a bit tied up this Friday, when he'll share up-to-the-minute insight on current market conditions as a speaker at Bisnow's second annual Multifamily Summit at theMetropolitan Club.
Tony (right, with co-workers Diana Pittro and Tony Rossi) says financing for his $150M-plus Addison Park project might be a little bit more complicated than normal because the building will have 400 below-ground parking spaces, 135 apartments, a 137-room hotel, and two floors (about 150k SF) of retail, and therefore might requiremultiple sources of debt. Just across from Wrigley Field at Addison and Clark, the development will improve the Wrigleyvilleneighborhood's density. Also in preliminary stages is a $100Mluxury-oriented apartment tower at Lake and Dearborn, where M & R Development is replacing an existing parking garage with a 44-storyresidential building. (There's still time to sign up for our Bisnow Multifamily Summit. Scott will be joined by AMLI CEO Greg Mutz, Waterton Associates founder David Schwartz, and many more.)
