Last night, a panel of architecture critics, including the Chicago Tribune' Blair Kamin spoke to the Chicago Architecture Foundation at the Murphy Auditorium. Blair explained how the newly refurbished Chicago Riverwalk, on lower Wacker near Michigan and State, had ?united the community like a zipper.? Even without any celebrity architects, the new Vietnam veteran's memorial has received a lot of public attention, he says. |
