Arthur J. Rogers & Co president Bill Schmitz wasn't around at the company's inception in 1945, but 42 years with the firm is nothing to sneeze at. The real estate services company (and Bill himself) has seen p henomenal economic growth and historic expansion in postwar Chicagoland. Examples: Arthur J. Rogers' development of O'Hare Center and Lake Plaza, leading the charge as one of the country's most successful commercial quarters. Bill tells us that it has developed over 10M SF of commercial and industrial properties, and he's optimistic about the coming redux reverse. He's already seen a healthy return of activity in industrial, retail, and Class-A office and predicts rental rates will rise before the year is over.
