At The Races
BOMA Suburban Chicago focused on a different kind of big win on Friday, as it gathered at Arlington Park for an afternoon of horse racing. The event included a silent auction and silly hat contest, although we didn't catch many hats. (Don't be so shy next time!) |
Luck hadn't struck yet when we visited the Hamilton Partner's table, but Advent Systems, Inc.'s Michael Pentz and Alter's Gary Kocher,Joy Pentz, and Dan Maraski were still happy to be out of the rain. Joy is working on LEED certification for 500 Park in Itasca, 3500 N. Lacey in Downers Grove, and 20 N. Clark downtown. She and her team are focusing on green management, like cleaning, and energy efficient employee practices. |
Olsson Roofing Co.'s Gregory Johnson wisely joined the ladies of Alter Asset Management, who had just won $11 on a bet. Joanne Cusack, Barbara Warren, and Cheryl Voltz were also celebrating Barbara earning her RPA designation, which has helped her learn more about mechanics. She says she's already used some of the lessons to help her building run more smoothly. |
