BOMANS of the Year

Chicago
BOMANS of the Year
The McDonald's campus in Oak Brook serves up more than burgers. Earlier this month it hosted BOMA/Suburban Chicago, as it named its members of the year. We assume they all went home with a toy.

BOMA/Suburban prez John Lambrecht and ?08 Engineer of the Year Jim Williams (left) presented the 2009 Engineer of the Year to Keystone Property Group's Miguel Perez. Sounds deserved: Just months after being named chief engineer at Keyston, Miguel was involved in three major building renovations and green initiatives. Added bonus, many took place during a lovely Chicago winter.
Prime Realty Trust's Cathi Carlson

Member of the Year went to Prime Realty Trust's Cathi Carlson,  who manages Continental Towers  in Rolling Meadows. Cathi judged the TOBY Awards this year, and also managed to get an Energy Star rating and a BOMA 360 Award for her building.

BOMA's John Lambrecht, Moore Landscapes' Jan Wemple, and Hard Surface Solutions' Bruce Church

John also presented the Associate of the Year to Hard Surface Solutions' Bruce Church, here with last year's winner, Moore Landscapes' Jan Wemple. This year, Bruce made us feel like slackers by starting a new company and initiating the BOMA Emerging Professionals Group.
