Builder's Bash
December 20, 2010
The Builder's Association celebrated a year where many of its members got back to work, over lunch at Trump Tower on Thursday. SmithAmundson's Bob Lessman, W.E. O'Neill's Lou Reiner, and Latimer, LeVay & Fyock's Barb Anderson greeted guests at the party. W.E. O'Neill's big project for the last two and next two years is the $600M hospital campus at the University of Chicago, a JV with Gilbane. And for those of you wondering what the basement of Block 37 looks like now that the exterior of the mall is completed, Lou says it would make a great Batcave if a third Batman movie is shot in Chicago. |
Pepper Construction's David Pepper and Ryan Cos Lynn Treat and Jeff Smith were chatting about Lynn's last days as Builders Association president. Ryan Cos just moved into a new office in Naperville, which they originally built for Delta Dental. Jeff says they're still figuring out where all the boxes go (but, hey, free toothpaste). |
