Burnham Pointe Sold

| We can't turn back the market to '08, but we did just see the largest sale of a multifamily asset in Chicago since Q1 of that year. CBRE repped Stark Burnham Pointe in the $88M sale of Burnham Pointe Apartments at 730 South Clark St. to Behringer Harvard. It's Behringer Harvard's first multifamily purchase in the city. Burnham Pointe is a mixed-use property with 298 units, 267 parking spaces, and 16k SF of commercial space. CBRE's Peter Marino, Jesse Karasik, and John Clifford of the firm's debt and equity finance group, along with John Jaeger, Dan Cohen, and Melissa Strauss of its Chicago multi-housing investment sales group repped the seller. |
