CINCO DE CITY OF HOPE
April 27, 2011
Brokers, contractors, financiers, and architects are joining once again to raise money for the City of Hope cancer research center by taking over the House of Blues with their bands. But this year will be different: The event will be on Cinco de Mayo and will have a tequila bar and Mexican-themed food. The Reach Social Board of Directors, including Partners by Design's Enza Parrella, Charter One's Lisa Sawczuk, Power Construction's Patrick Donley, City of Hope'sSarah Maraccini, TVS Design's Marc Adelman, Clune Construction's Julie O'Shea, HFF's Jeff Bramson, JLL's Dan Maslauski, Leopardo's Rick DuPraw, Walsh Construction's Mike Smolarek, and Golub's Lee Golub tell us they're on track to raise$250k, with 976 tickets sold so far (224 still available). The event is in its 15th year but will still feature classic real estate bands Missing Ted, Spakl, Liquidated Damages, Dr. Bombay, and Mad Cow. Also still up for grabs: an eight-seat opera box being auctioned by Transwestern's Scott Becker. |
