CORNHOLE FOR A CAUSE
August 15, 2011
Nothing like a game of cornhole to celebrate the dog days of summer. Corenet Chicago's Young leaders gathered at Ethyl's Beer and Wine Dive on Thursday to toss bags and raise money for charity. We snapped Workrite Ergonomics' Kim Darke and Dan Hartman doing just that. Kim says she's better at ergonomics than bags—she recently helped workers at UHC to arrange their desks so they would be more comfortable, but she lost at cornhole (apparently throwing bean bags doesn't provide good lumbar support). |
Dobbins Group's Mandy Seelman and Ellen Lieder lost at bags but are winning at softball. The Dobbins team is 10-0 in the Architecture and Design League. When they're not taking part in summer sports, Dobbins is building the 8,000 SF Roycemore School in Evanston, and designing an office space for ISBA at 20 S Clark St. |
