CRE Auctioneer Donates Her Talents
Auctions by ATG EVP Diana Peterson put her professional skills to charitable use recently, hosting the live and silent auctions at the auxiliary board of the Art Institute of Chicago's annual fundraiser, Uncorked: A Case for Wine at the Casino Club. (She's on the auxiliary board.) A broker with a law degree, Diana launched the business (auctioning off commercial and residential properties) last year. She took a break from hunting down buyers for Motorola's former Arlington Heights campus to help out with the wine and food-tasting event, which drew more than 250 people. Both auctions brought in $84k, up $18k over last year's total. In all, the event raised $167k for the Art Institute of Chicago.
