Millennium Properties R/E sold a 7,951 SF lofted commercial condo at 1212 N LaSalle (above) in the Gold Coast. The unit is part of a 27-story luxury condo building near the corner of Division and LaSalle. Mox Realty’s Michael Chezan repped the buyer, a pre-school and daycare company.
EXECUTIVE MOVES
Savills Studley promoted Robert Sevim to EVP and co-head of the Chicago office along with Eric Feinberg, who will be promoted to SVP. John Goodman, Joe Learner and Rick Schuham, each EVP, will continue to serve on the Chicago region management committee. Robert has been with the firm for 10 years and has executed over 10M SF of transactions valued at more than $7.5B. Eric has been with Savills Studley for over 12 years and has executed over 6M SF of transactions around the world valued over $6B.

JLL tapped Heather MacLeod as EVP, Americas corporate solutions marketing. With 20 years of experience in professional services and agency client service, Heather was previously marketing director for North America in Accenture’s products operating group, a $7.4B business. She holds an MBA from Kellogg and a BS from U of I.

Lee & Associates of Illinois hired Ryan Kehoe as VP in the industrial services group. The nine-year industry vet was previously director with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and Grubb & Ellis in their industrial services group. He will continue to strengthen his market knowledge and landlord/tenant relationships in the West and North Cook, Lake County and southeast Wisconsin submarkets.

Aldo Bottalla joined The Missner Group as VP of business development, growing the firm’s construction and development sector. He has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and was most recently SVP of sales with Universal Gaming Group. Aldo received his undergraduate degree in business management from Arizona State University.

Robbie Joseph joined MB Real Estate as project manager on the project services team. Robbie is lead project manager for MBRE’s healthcare group. He was previously a senior project manager with CBRE and also spent many years with Navigant and AMDC. He graduated from UIC with a degree in business management.
CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT
MB Real Estate and CBRE Global Investors announced the installation of a unique 55’ x 15’ digital art/media wall (above) in the lobby of 181 W Madison, the first of its kind in the city. The media wall will showcase building information, holiday displays and Chicago-specific content. The building is also opening a 14k SF Wellness Center as well as 30k SF of high-end spec suites and a conference facility. CBRE Global Investors purchased 181 W Madison earlier this year from GE Asset Management. MBRE leases and manages the 953k SF high-rise.

Construction has started on a new $1.8M Advocate Medical Group practice in the new Pullman Park development at 111th Street and the Bishop Ford Expressway in the Pullman/Roseland neighborhood. Slated to open next year, the 4k SF practice will offer treatment for minor injuries/illnesses as well as a sports complex.
FINANCING
Lakeside Capital Advisors announced the second closing of its Lakeside Workforce Housing fund, focused on affordable housing properties serving low and moderate income families. Lakeside previously acquired seven properties totaling 1,120 units. The properties were originally developed using low-income housing tax credit financing. Lakeside was founded in 2012 and is sponsored by Laramar Affordable Housing, Real Estate Capital Partners and Capital E Group.
