Fetching Young Coffee-Fetchers
Is GQ guest editing this issue? Looks like it, but these are actually interns that Transwestern is bringing into the tumultuous market:Abdalla Salah, Eli Horowitz, Brian Ahearn, Michael Weiner, and Chad Redding have joined the team for two glorious unpaid months of summer. They're going through a cycle of mostly mock work, ranging from property management to tenant rep, investment, and marketing. The benefit: mostly intangible, says Brian, but each intern has two mentors who are helping them through the process. Thanks to John Herbst for the rooftop photo. |
Michael, who just graduated from the UW-Madison says he's learned about paying attention to detail and how to prepare for any client question. Chad has one year left at UW and is hoping for an improved market by graduation, but he sees the benefit to having experienced a dark time. The whole group was looking forward to a game of softball last night and drinks at Gamekeepers with their mentors. |
