Growing Green
HJKessler & Associates' Helen Kessler has seen many movements in the green concerto. From solar panels to recycling to energy efficiency, she's ridden the wave from the '70s until today. It's why we're pleased she'll be moderating our Sustainability Breakfast and Schmooze tomorrow morning at the Metropolitan Club
We snapped Helen in her office (with her own artwork) on Monday. After moving to Chicago in 1989, Helen has been an integral part of many of the city's green projects, including the Chicago Center for Green Technology, the Chicago Public Branch Libraries, 250k-SF for Exelon, and 353 N. Clark. She's currently a LEED consultant for six high schools and five elementary schools for the Chicago Public School District. Helen says the city has been a leader in green for a long time because of Mayor Daley's commitment to lead the nation by requiring green roofs for all TIF projects and putting LEED projects first in line for permitting. Join Helen, and hundreds of your peers, at our event tomorrow by signing up now!
