Home Away From Home
What happens when you have to temporarily move an employee from one city to another? What about when you get a new office space and haven't had time to pick out just the right furniture for it? That's where Bob Crawford comes in. The EVP of Brook Furniture Rental says that the uncertainty in the economy, as well as the tendency to move employees around, has helped his business, which rents office or residential furniture. The advantages? It can be cheaper. And you can change it if you don't like it. |
Bob shows us the C-Suite he can provide for a company in wood or all black finishes. He started working for Brook in high school, under his father, delivering furniture and setting up showrooms. After college he went into marketing, making it big in Coca-Cola's food service marketing industry before telling his dad he'd help him search for a new EVP. After a long, circular, hunt, Bob and his father decided he'd be the best guy for the job. Now he runs the firm's new showroom at 222 N. LaSalle. And if you were curious, there's no Coke machine. |
