IN MEMORY
Paine/Wetzel's Elise Couston, Lamer Muchin Chicago's Jill O'Brien, Haworth's Kelly Martincin and her brother Michael Bischof

March 7 marks two years since, tragically, Darwin Realty's Cindy Bischof  was shot and killed outside her office by an ex-boyfriend. To honor her memory, Paine/Wetzel's Elise Couston, Lamer Muchin Chicago's  Jill O'Brien, Haworth's Kelly Martincin, and her brother Michael Bischof formed the Cynthia L. Bischof Memorial Foundation, which has raised more than $40,000 to support domestic violence shelters and training programs to prevent domestic violence; it's also lobbied for bills that require GPS tracking of people who have orders of protection filed against them. Such bills have already been signed into law in Illinois and Indiana, and another is being considered in Wisconsin. Last night, the group was featured on ABC's Nightline.
