INSOURCING?
If these two aren’t careful, they may get some write-in votes for Congress: NAI Hiffman's Jay Maher and Larry Goldwasser helped bring some jobs back from overseas by representing Peerless Industries in its consolidation of two Melrose Park industrial buildings into one 308k-SF space at 2300 White Oak in Aurora. Peerless, an electronic mount manufacturer, decided in 2009 to bring all of its manufacturing jobs back from China and Mexico, which will mean 405 existing jobs and 85 new jobs over the next three years in the western suburbs. Larry says he helped the company land tax incentives for locating in Illinois. The building is a former build-to-suit for 3M that has been vacant for a year. |
