It Ain't $6 Billion, But . . .
What's the one thing better than $6 billion? Apparently, it's 57k SF of office space. After rebuffing that behemoth offer from Google, deal-of-the-day company Groupon is expanding by 57k SF at its 600 W. Chicago HQ. The expansion would bring its editorial staff back from a temp space on Michigan Ave, Crain's reported this morning. |
The new space will include the third and seventh floors of the eight-story former Montgomery Ward Catalog Building, as well as the first floor of nearby 900 N. Kingsbury St condos. JLL's Brad Despot and Gary Kostecki are handling leasing for for 600 W. Chicago, a JLL spokesperson confirmed this morning. Calls to Groupon weren't returned by press time. |
