| USGBC Chicago gathered last night for its LEED, Leaders, and Liters program to talk about green roofing, but we also met some professionals who were working on other green systems as well. |

We snapped Goby's Rick Onyshko chatting with Clean Urban Energy's Vincent and Beth Cushing, who?re working on new software that monitors HVAC systems and can cut bills 20-40%. They're installing the system in 15 buildings in the Loop this year, including the site of last night?s meeting, 211 W. Wacker. Request from a weary reporter: with the savings, consider furniture. |

Sandy's son, Joe is the president of All About Green and started building green roofs in Maine. We hear he's very happy with what the mayor has done to support green roofs in Chicago. |
