How do you prepare for a tenant mix that contains unconventional business operations? Now schools, call centers, and medical users (like Lasik eye surgery centers)—who aren't your typical 9 to 5 businesses—are more interested in Class-A office space. BOMA/Suburban Chicago’s latest lunch program addressed that topic, noting that such tenants can require creative leases, different power needs, and evening and weekend hours. Even tenants as small as 300 SF are demanding full amenities—and sometimes getting them.
