Office Space: 2020
July 19, 2012
CoreNet’s latest lunch program asked what CRE executives need to do to become more effective by 2020—how they’ll evolve and where they’ll be on the corporate value chain by then. (Half-robotic brains will be critical.) There’s no doubt it’s going to be a different world for corporate space users by the end of the decade. For instance, work will go to people rather than people going to work. But that isn’t going to diminish the importance of place (and thus corporate CRE) because people need human interaction to thrive. CoreNet Global's VP-knowledge Tim Venable (third from the left) moderated the panel, which also included Tyco VP-global real estate Bill Alexander, Honeywell VP-global real estate Rick Kriva, and AT&T director-client and workplace strategies Rich Wagner. |
