ROCKING OUT FOR CANCER
missing ted and Nick Luzetti
Reach Social's 15th Annual City of Hope bash at the House of Blues sold out to an audience of 1,200 again this year. Five real estate bands—Spakl, Missing Ted (pictured), Liquidated Damages,Dr Bombay, and Mad Cow—performed at the Cinco de Mayo event. We snapped Michele Rust and VOA's Nick Luzetti  dancing. VOA is working on Roosevelt University's new 32-story campus, which will be the second-tallest educational building in the country.
Transwestern's Michael Walker, CBRE's Jena Hollensteiner, Fordham Co's Chris Carley, and CR Daccord's David Ariola
We snapped Transwestern's Michael Walker, CBRE's  Jena Hollensteiner, Fordham Co's Chris Carley, and CR Daccord's David Ariola rocking out in the audience. Michael works with computer program SpaceCalc to do space planning and has recently landed a big deal he'll tell us more about soon. David is planning a campus in Iowa for a group of nuns for whom he recently sold a building at Loyola. (It's either the oddest beginning to a joke, or an interesting start to a real estate deal.)
CCC Techonologies' Jennifer Theesfeld, Bank of America's Cheri Carter, CCC Technologies' Mark Marshall, and Hallett Movers Sandy Manden-Davison
Getting into the spirit, CCC Techonologies' Jennifer Theesfeld, Bank of America's Cheri Carter, CCC Technologies' Mark Marshall, and Hallett Movers Sandy Manden-Davison. They said they're looking forward to Bisnow's Schmoozarama II coming up next week at Fulton's on the River.
Dr Bombay
Dr Bombay, with most of its band members from Golub, played songs from Cee-Lo Green and The Simple Minds. The $250k in funds raised from the event went to the City of Hope cancer research center in California.
