November 8, 2010
As deals get more complicated, Pircher Nichols and Meeks has found itself working harder to keep up. Recently, the attorneys in the 23-person Chicago office completed the assemblage of the new Des Plaines Casino site, a process that took almost seven years, as well as the development and partial sale of 2 Constitution Square in DC. We snapped this of Gene Leone, Michael McKeever, Jonathan Levy, Timothy McCaffrey, Rosie Rees, Marc Benjamin, Pablo Petrozzi, and David Pezza at 900 N. Michigan. They're working with a lot of offshoots of former real estate giant JMB Real Estate, including GEM Realty Capital and Walton Street Capital. Their clients and complex deal transactions helped them earn a tier #1 ranking in the US News & World Report evaluation of law firms this year. | |
On the leasing side, the firm represents some of the country's highest profile retail centers, such as Water Tower Place in Chicago and Century City Mall in LA. The Chicago office has recently added a litigation arm, headed up by Tim McCaffrey, in order to handle a growing number of disputes, workouts, and foreclosures. |
